Awareness Campaigns

Business challenges

Creating awareness to new ways of working or to a change initiative is vital to ensure buy-in and commitment. Too little energy or attention can result in increased resistance to change and at worst to people actively working against the change. Challenges facing organizations during this phase are:

  • How to align the ideas of management and workforce?
  • How to get people to recognize the need to change?
  • How to create a shared understanding of the benefits to be realized by new ways of working or the change program?
  • How to actively engage people in two way communication to ensure people are informed and involved and able to give feedback?

GamingWorks can support these types of change awareness requirements with large group events. These group events will be focussed on creating awareness and buy-in to change initiatives. GamingWorks will customize the introduction and delivery of its products to ensure awareness objectives are met.

Our products can be used for:

  • Explaining the aims and objectives of the change and aligning management and the workforce
Each of our simulations focusses on achieving measurable results on aspects such as time, money and quality. We can introduce our simulations with an emphasis on the objectives of your own program. Key managers and change executives can introduce the sessions and use this moment to explain company aims and objectives, this way they will reach all employees.  Key managers and executives can conclude sessions and can explain to employees next steps in relation to the change and explain what will happen with the learning points and improvement suggestions raised by the participants.
  • Getting people to recognize the need to change
Our simulations are played in rounds. In each round people are confronted with the impact of their behaviour on overall goals. Often in early rounds there is chaos, confusion and results are not achieved. We can reflect on this using the objectives of your program and relate performance to the participants actual working environment.
  • Recognizing benefits
Following each round teams discuss and agree improvements. They can be facilitated in making improvements in line with your new ways of working or change objectives. As each round progresses improvements lead to increased performance. During reflections and discussions people recognize the benefits they have realized by applying new ways of working. • Creating a shared understanding of the need and the benefits
Our simulations can be played with people from different management levels and from different departments. The simulated environment brings them together. In the simulated environment they are forced to enter into dialogue and to discuss and agree performance and the need to change within the simulated environment. At the end of the session they are facilitated in reflections focussing on improvement suggestions. During these moments discussions occur and a shared perception and understanding is formed.
