Program

The program is 1 full day from 9.00 – 17.00.

The participants in this simulation play a specific project role throughout the day.  The project lasts 4 years. An introduction is given by the simulation facilitator after which participants have time to study their role and the material they will be using.

The team receives time to prepare for the project assignment (Roles, planning, designing graphs and reporting instruments), following this the project assignment must be carried out and the project clock is started.

The external supplier will deliver stones. The Work Foreman(men) will build the business objects. The team will be confronted with events that must be dealt with. The project manager will lead the project execution, the quality manager ensure the quality is both the business objects and the overall process is managed, project support facilitates the team with graphs and actual facts on status and progress. The architect will assess the feasibility of the requirements from the project sponsor and will make designs to support the required functionality of the objects. The steering group will ensure that the requirements of the sponsor are met, that the objects are fit for use and fit for purpose and that the revenue targets are realized on time, for each of the objects.

Following each simulation round the team receives time to optimize their project processes to ensure that results will be achieved. The simulation facilitator will use the 7 CMM-I processes during the reflection.
